Billy and Kinsey had an amazing rehearsal dinner this past Friday night in the historic Chapel Hill hotel The Carolina Inn (http://www NULL.carolinainn NULL.com). The guests arrived after the rehearsal to drinks and passed food just outside the amazing Hill Ballroom. Right around 7:00pm, the doors were opened, and the father of the groom, Mr. Fennebresque took the mic to welcome everyone and told them to “eat fast”. LOL! I thought that was hilarious. They just wanted to get to the party I think!
The dinner looked amazing, and once everyone had their fill, MANY people stood up to give toasts about the bride and groom. These were some of the best toasts I’ve heard in quite a while! Well thought out, funny, not too long. Great job! As soon as the toasts were over, they turned the event over to me. I started out with some of my favorite oldies like “Signed, Sealed, Delivered” and “My Girl”. I mixed in all types of other music as well, 70’s, 80’s, some rock and then finally it was time to “Party Rock” which took the party to the next level! The guests had a blast and I even got a hug from the bride-to-be at the end! I hope they had just as much fun on Saturday at their reception in the Old Well Room!
