Available only 25 weekends each year, Duke Mansion was built in 1915 by its famous owner James Buchanan Duke. Accommodating weddings of up to 150, all food and beverage are prepared by the mansion’s Executive Chef and staff. Located only two miles from the center of Charlotte, the property features well-manicured grounds for outdoor ceremonies and 20 appointed guest rooms.

This Banner Elk venue features two barn-style spaces. The Overlook Barn can accommodate up to 250 for a seated reception while the Cliffside Barn works well for ceremonies and cocktails. There’s also Mary’s Meadow for outdoor ceremonies and a covered pavilion for dancing. Pick your favorite caterer and bring your own alcohol.

In nearby Winston-Salem you’ll find this beautifully transformed 1800s farmhouse. With its white-washed wood and wrought iron light fixtures, Triple J can accommodate up to 200. There’s a side porch that’s just right for cocktails and a scenic knoll for outdoor ceremonies. Go a la carte with one of the venue’s approved caterers or choose an all-inclusive package from Triple J’s exclusive food & beverage partner Providence Catering.
WinMock at Kinderton

Another vintage property located near Winston-Salem and about an hour north of Charlotte is WinMock at Kinderton in Bermuda Run. The venue can accommodate up to 275 guests with its large barn and loft featuring wrought iron chandeliers and 32-foot soaring beamwork. Terraces provide outdoor ceremony locations while The Granary can provide a Plan B in case it rains.
