Favorite DJing Experience: My favorite DJ story is a surprise party I threw & DJ’d for my wife and my best friend. I told each of them that the party was for the other and that they had to make sure that they got the other person there at a certain time. All our family & friends played along and didn’t let on to what was happening. So it’s now party time and they arrive together and 100 people are in the room as they open the doors and hear “Surprise”! Well, they are both trying to push the other in the room first as they still think it’s a party for the other. The look on both their faces said it all and it was several moments before either figured it out. It was a great night!
About Damien Maass:
Damien has been with the team since 2007. He always has a smile on his face and is ready to talk about music & DJing.
Damien’s DJ career started as a morning show host on WVIP radio in Westchester County, New York in the late 80s. Prior to that he was an actor and did a lot of early cable television as well as sports broadcasting. Radio took him all across the country and back and he now lives with his wife and kids in the Triangle area. In Damien’s spare time he loves to exercise, spend time with his family & friends and watch any big sporting event that comes along.

Damien was great, we recieved many compliments about him and a few asked for his contact info. I very much wanted someone who was not over the top load and in my face and Damien managed to be cool and professional at the same time was upbeat and engaging with the kids. A large portion of the success of the day was due to his excellent work.
