About Mark Toney: Joe met Mark at a local restaurant where he used to DJ on Thursdays. Mark just kept showing up week after week and wanting to do a “set”. After seeing his skills, Joe hired him on the spot. He is a great asset to any type of party. Mark Toney started DJ’ing in New Jersey and New York in 1990. After burning out on the “city life”, he moved down south to North Carolina to start fresh. His love of music carried through and he is now working weddings, clubs, private parties, and other events. His spare time is devoted to music, basketball, and watching sports. Mark writes, “I’m proud to be part of the Joe Bunn DJ Company roster. My years of experience will make your event shine.”

Mark did a great job! We had comments from the attendees that they were so glad '80s and '90s music was played. They had been to other reunions where just recent music was played, and this time they appreciated songs that took them back in time.

Mark did a great job of getting the party going after dinner was over. Guests were a little shy at first, but he chose the right songs to get everyone on the dance floor and we danced all night. He also made sure to introduce himself to our parents and verify their names prior to the introduction. I appreciated his efforts to make sure that everyone was comfortable and prepared for their introduction. Finally, he honored our music requests and no play lists, but we did cave and let our guests have one group dance- the Cupid Shuffle. A great time was held by all!
