Wedding Ceremony at Summerfield Farms
Rebecca and Alex had an insanely gorgeous day for their outdoor wedding ceremony at Summerfield Farms. I mean it couldn’t have been prettier out there under that big oak tree. We provided the music and mics for this traditional Jewish ceremony. It was a great start to the day!
Wedding Reception
Once the ceremony ended, guests walked up to the barn terrace for cocktails, where we had music playing of course. As cocktails were wrapping up, I got the signal to start The Hora downstairs. “Just start, people will get going,” they said…and they did! Wow, what a great start to the party! I can’t wait to see the photos from Vesic Photography and the video footage from 21 Films. After the crowd settled from the rowdy hora, we had a blessing over the challah from the aunts and uncles. Next up was dinner in the adjacent tent. The food looked amazing! After dinner, folks made their way back into the barn for the parent dances. Rebecca and her father danced to “Brown Eyed Girl” by Van Morrison and Alex and his mom danced to “Forever Young” by Rod Stewart. We had a little open dancing after that and then took a quick break for both of the fathers to give some amazing toasts. As soon as they were done, it was back to me. I rocked a ton of 90s hits based on requests from the couple, and they went over great! Wow, what a day!

DJing is more than just showing up and pressing play. It’s also more than just knowing how to choose songs and mix them together. Begin a wedding DJ is about creating experiences and atmospheres. That’s what our DJing philosophy boils down to. We don’t want to just provide the perfect music. We want to create the perfect day. That’s why we excel in what we do. And this wedding was a perfect example of that. Working with this awesome couple to create the day they envisioned is something we’ll never forget. And it’s a service we provide all our Raleigh Weddings again and again.
