Dan & Dayna’s Wedding At The Angus Barn Pavilion

Dan and Dayna began their very hot (literally) day with to DJ an outdoor wedding ceremony at the incredible Angus Barn Pavilion in Raleigh NC. The ceremony was down by the lake and they kept it short and sweet for the guests (and me maybe). Cocktails were up next in the area just next to the pavilion. Drinks and the famous spread by the Angus Barn were served. I had some great Motown classics playing for the hour.

The Introductions

After cocktails, the introductions took place. The bridal party made their big entrance to “Levels” by Avicii (one of my favorite EDM tracks). Dan and Dayna came in to “You Make My Dreams Come True” by Hall & Oates. Of course I cut the song to the chorus to get max impact! They went right into their first dance, a class, “Can’t Help Falling in Love” by The King! Dayna’s father welcomed everyone and dinner was served. As always, it was top notch!

The Dancing

After dinner, several great toasts were given, and then Dayna and her father had their dance to “18 Yellow Roses” by Shawn O’Farrell. Dan and his mother danced to “Landslide” by Fleetwood Mac. After that, it was straight open dancing, no more breaks or stops! These people rocked the dance floor for 2 hours plus and ended with a huge singalong to “Don’t Stop Believing” by Journey! We sent the couple of right after that under sparklers. What a wedding!

DJing is more than just showing up and pressing play. It’s also more than just knowing how to choose songs and mix them together. Begin a wedding DJ is about creating experiences and atmospheres. That’s what our DJing philosophy boils down to. We don’t want to just provide the perfect music. We want to create the perfect day. That’s why we excel in what we do. And this wedding was a perfect example of that. Working with this awesome couple to create the day they envisioned is something we’ll never forget. And it’s a service we provide all our Raleigh Weddings again and again.
