I met Brenton and Alana way back last year and actually got to DJ for Brenton’s workplace holiday party last December, so I knew this couple liked to party! They didn’t let me down at Brier Creek a couple of weekends ago. The night started with an introduction into the room to the songs “September” by Earth, Wind & Fire and then “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough”. The newlyweds hit the dance floor for their first dance to “La Vie En Rose” by Bocelli. Alana and her dad then danced to a waltz which he had recorded for her with his band! How cool is that?! Brenton and his mother then danced to “My Girl” by The Temptations. The father of the bride welcome everyone, the blessing was said, and the food came flying out! What a great start to the reception!
After dinner, it was time for the cake cutting and toasts and then the anniversary dance. This anniversary dance was amazing. The couple that won had been married for 62 years! Not only that, the gentleman was having his 90th birthday the next day!!! Awesome!!!
The dance floor opened and was rocking all night long with only a brief break for the bouquet and garter toss. The night closed with AC/DC’s “You Shook Me All Night Long” and then a big glow stick departure. As always, the team from Orangerie Events killed it and kept the event running smooth as silk. I can’t wait to see the photos from Blest Studios!
DJing is more than just showing up and pressing play. It’s also more than just knowing how to choose songs and mix them together. Begin a wedding DJ is about creating experiences and atmospheres. That’s what our DJing philosophy boils down to. We don’t want to just provide the perfect music. We want to create the perfect day. That’s why we excel in what we do. And this wedding was a perfect example of that. Working with this awesome couple to create the day they envisioned is something we’ll never forget. And it’s a service we provide all our Raleigh Weddings again and again.
