Sorry for not posting this sooner, but I had a couple of weekends off (well sorta, but of course, I was still out hustling). Anyway, Jeff and Lauren’s ceremony took place August 15th at Duke Gardens in the little amphitheatre area. Barbara Lodge was their officiant (she’s awesome!) and I did the microphones. She had a violin and guitar player for the music. To be honest, the ceremony was perfect, a little hot, but perfect!
Once the ceremony ended, guests just moved a few feet over to the patio area and started the cocktail hour. The musicians from the ceremony provided the soundtrack while I broke down the ceremony PA and got ready inside. Once the guests made it inside, it was time for the intros to “Marry You” by Bruno Mars. Once the applause died down for the new Mr. and Mrs. Kreutter, it was time for their first dance, “Mean to Me” by Brett Eldridge. The father of the bride gave a brief welcome and then the amazing dinner by Catering Works came out. Once dinner ended, it was time to move through the toasts and cake cutting followed by Lauren’s dance with her dad to “My Girl” by The Temptations, and Jeff’s dance with his mom to “My Wish” by Rascal Flatts. Finally the dance floor opened and the crowd went wild (I like to think)! There was a ton of dancing all the way up until the end when the happy newlyweds made their grand departure. What a great wedding! As always, Carrington with Erin McLean Events did a great job. I can’t wait to see the photos from Callie with Nancy Ray Photography!
