If the old saying about it’s good luck to get married on a rainy day is true, then this couple will have tons of good luck! Gross day, but a beautiful wedding at The Oaks at Salem! The day started with guests arriving to the house and (luckily) tented area for cocktails. Around 6pm, it was time for the introductions to The Black Eyed Peas’ classic “I Gotta Feeling”. This got everyone charged up for the big entrance of Hannah and David!

Next, they went right into their first dance which a real treat for me and every guest there. David actually wrote and recorded an original song for their dance! What??!!! And even better, it was killer! There wasn’t a dry eye in that place! Hannah and her father danced next to “Little Miss Magic” by Jimmy Buffett and then David and his mom danced to Van Morrison’s “These are the Days”. The father of the bride welcomed the guests and then it was buffet time!

As dinner ended, a few people gave some great toasts and then it was time to partayyy! The guests hit the dance floor right off the bat and the only time we paused was for the bouquet toss (“Single Ladies” by Beyonce) and the garter toss (“Want to Want Me” by Jason Derulo). The partied all the way to the last dance “Don’t Stop Believin'” by Journey. As the song ended, it was time for the sparkler departure and their getaway in David’s antique pickup truck! Great night, great wedding!

DJing is more than just showing up and pressing play. It’s also more than just knowing how to choose songs and mix them together. Begin a wedding DJ is about creating experiences and atmospheres. That’s what our DJing philosophy boils down to. We don’t want to just provide the perfect music. We want to create the perfect day. That’s why we excel in what we do. And this wedding was a perfect example of that. Working with this awesome couple to create the day they envisioned is something we’ll never forget. And it’s a service we provide all our Raleigh Weddings again and again.
