Mary Kate and Ethan had their wedding ceremony and their reception at Bay 7 in Durham, NC a couple of weekends ago. The day started with an amazing ceremony downstairs. I provided the microphones and they hired a great guitarist and violinist combo for the music. It went flawlessly! As soon as they were married, the guests made their way to the second level for cocktails as the room was prepared for dinner and dancing.

Once the cocktails ended, I had the guests take their seats and then got the bridal party prepped for intros. They all entered to “You Make My Dreams Come True” by Hall & Oates and when Mary Kate and Ethan made their way down the stairs, everyone was on their feet and clapping! They then went right into their first dance “Then” by Brad Paisley. After that, Mary Kate and her father danced to “My Little Girl” by Tim McGraw. The father of the bride welcomed everyone and then the officiant blessed the food. Dinner started soon after, and as always, it was awesome! It is The Angus Barn food after all! We knocked out the toasts during dinner, and the cake right after. Then it was my favorite time, open dancing! The guests partied hard all the way up until the end of the night when the sparklers were lit and we sent them off. What a great party!

DJing is more than just showing up and pressing play. It’s also more than just knowing how to choose songs and mix them together. Begin a wedding DJ is about creating experiences and atmospheres. That’s what our DJing philosophy boils down to. We don’t want to just provide the perfect music. We want to create the perfect day. That’s why we excel in what we do. And this wedding was a perfect example of that. Working with this awesome couple to create the day they envisioned is something we’ll never forget. And it’s a service we provide all our Raleigh Weddings again and again.
