Morgan & Tyler November 12th, 2016
Morgan and Tyler are an amazing couple and I had just a blast at their wedding. The event started with their ceremony in the gorgeous Fearrington Garden. Once the guests reached me in the Barn it was beginning to get chilly, but I had some warm Jazz Standards playing to warm up by.
The introductions of the wedding party were to TI’s “Bring Em Out” with Morgan and Tyler making their entrance to “Forever” by Chris Brown. The couple immediately launched into their first dance of “God Gave Me You” by Blake Shelton. Morgan’s dance with her awesome Dad was to Stevie Wonder’s “Isn’t She Lovely” with Tyler dancing with his Mother to “Simple Man” by Lynyrd Skynyrd and quickly switching to “I Will Always Love My Momma” by the Intruders!
The Father of the Bride gave a nice welcome speech, and then the Blessing of the meal. (If you’ve ever eaten at the award winning Fearrington, then you know that meal was amazing!) The Matron of Honor Claire and the Father of the Groom and Best Man Brian gave their hilarious toasts followed by Morgan and Tyler cutting a slice of the amazing Fearrington Cake to Blake Shelton’s “Honey Bee”. (See a pattern here?)
I opened the dance floor and it seemed like the guests were itching to dance because the dance floor filled almost instantly and never emptied! (A DJ’s Dream!!!!) It wasn’t long before it was time for the Bouquet toss to “Run The World” by Beyonce and Tyler tossed the garter to MC Hammer’s “U Can’t Touch This”.
Around 9pm or so the entire Bridal Party had a choreographed dance to “Blame it on the Boogie” by the Jackson 5 which ended up including all the guests! After another 2 whole hours of dancing, it was over and Mr & Mrs Pearce exited the barn to sparklers and “This Will Be (…An Everlasting Love)” by the late Natalie Cole! The sparklers were so long, the couple came back and exited again! HA!
All in all this is an amazing couple, with amazing friends and family! Tyler and Morgan I’m so glad and honored that you selected me as your DJ, and glad you call me a friend! Best wishes in your new life together!

DJing is more than just showing up and pressing play. It’s also more than just knowing how to choose songs and mix them together. Begin a wedding DJ is about creating experiences and atmospheres. That’s what our DJing philosophy boils down to. We don’t want to just provide the perfect music. We want to create the perfect day. That’s why we excel in what we do. And this wedding was a perfect example of that. Working with this awesome couple to create the day they envisioned is something we’ll never forget. And it’s a service we provide all our Raleigh Weddings again and again.
