I have know the Robbins family for a few years now since doing their anniversary party at The Umstead a few years ago. That party was great, but this one may have been even better! Wow! Just look at the pictures is all I’m saying. Joseph, their oldest son, was confirmed the day before and this was the big celebration.

Guests arrived around 7:00 to the pre-function area where I had tunes playing, but weren’t allowed into the ballroom for the grand showing just yet. Inside was incredible! The theme was underwater and Creative Visions pulled that off flawlessly with giant jellyfish, lighting, and even a coral backdrop for me! How about the cake? A giant shark creation by Sugarland! They also had Shutterbooth on hand with their photo booth that everyone seemed to love.

Once the guests entered, Joseph’s grandmother gave a beautiful blessing and then everyone started dinner which was tons of food stations lining both sides of the room-everything from sushi to Thanksgiving turkey and gravy! Yum! Later in the night a dessert station came out and a candy bar filled two huge tables in the pre-function area!

I started playing dance stuff around 9:00 and for three straight hours the guests of all ages stayed on that dance floor! I was loving it! I’m so glad the Robbins family asked me back for another celebration and I can’t wait to see the photos from Kevin Milz. I can’t wait for the next party!

DJing is more than just showing up and pressing play. It’s also more than just knowing how to choose songs and mix them together. Begin a wedding DJ is about creating experiences and atmospheres. That’s what our DJing philosophy boils down to. We don’t want to just provide the perfect music. We want to create the perfect day. That’s why we excel in what we do. And this wedding was a perfect example of that. Working with this awesome couple to create the day they envisioned is something we’ll never forget. And it’s a service we provide all our Raleigh Weddings again and again.
