Kemi & Kevin’s Wedding At The Oaks At Salem

The First Dance

Kemi and Kevin’s ceremony may have gotten moved under the tent vs. outside at The Oaks at Salem, but that didn’t stop this event from being a total success.  Joe was the wedding DJ for the ceremony which went flawlessly. As soon as that ended, it was time for cocktails and more great tunes. After an hour or so, it was time to line up the bridal party and get them into the reception! Once Kevin and Kemi hit the dance floor, they went right into their first dance “Say You Won’t Let Go” by James Arthur (great song). They had some moves! What a great start to the event! The blessing was said and the seated dinner began.

The Dancing

As dinner wrapped up, we had several great toasts, and then went ahead and knocked out the cake cutting followed by open dancing! They had picked some great songs and even though it was hot and muggy, folks were dancing! We only took a quick pause for the bouquet toss and then it was more partying until the ending where everyone sent them off under a sea of sparklers.

All of the vendors working this were top notch. Priscilla and her Orangerie Events team kept the flow going all night and I can’t wait to see the photos from Live View Studios!

DJing is more than just showing up and pressing play. It’s also more than just knowing how to choose songs and mix them together. Begin a wedding DJ is about creating experiences and atmospheres. That’s what our DJing philosophy boils down to. We don’t want to just provide the perfect music. We want to create the perfect day. That’s why we excel in what we do. And this wedding was a perfect example of that. Working with this awesome couple to create the day they envisioned is something we’ll never forget. And it’s a service we provide all our Raleigh Weddings again and again.
