Abby Alling and Tyler Horan chose Magnolia Plantation and Gardens for their perfect destination wedding, and they were not disappointed. The newly weds, who live in Alexandria, VA, were treated to a beautiful warm, sunny spring day which brought to life all of the wonders of Magnolia Plantation’s wildlife and plant life. The couple was joined by about 50 of their closest friends and family.

The ceremony and reception were both held on the perfectly manicured grounds at Magnolia Plantation. The bride made the walk to the ceremony to “A Thousand Years (Piano/Cello Cover)” by The Piano Guys. As a tribute to their wedding date, and Star Wars…May the 4th be with you, the bride and groom made their entrance to the Star Wars classic “Imperial March (Darth Vader’s Theme) ” by John Williams and proceeded under an archway of “light sabers” created by the bridesmaids and groomsmen. Abby and Tyler then had their first dance as husband and wife to Michael Buble’s “Save the Last Dance for Me.” The mother of the groom and the father of the bride then joined them on the dance floor where they all danced to “In My Life” by The Beatles.

Rhett Marley of Marley Photography provided the photography for the ceremony and wedding and took some beautiful pictures. I can’t wait to see them!

It was truly a perfect day in the lowcountry for a wedding. It was a special day and we are grateful to have been a part of it!
