Jenn Ritchey and Sachin Agarwal made the cross-country trip from their home in San Francisco, CA to the beautifully rustic Snipes Farm Retreat in Chapel Hill, NC for their wedding on April 26th, 2014.  The couple was joined by 200 of their family and friends on what was, so far, probably the prettiest day of the year.  Chelsey Morrison, of Gather Together Events, provided exceptional day-of planning services and made sure everything flowed and stayed on schedule. Guests were able to enjoy the beautiful weather with a variety of outdoor and “lawn” games such as corn-hole. The couple had some great musicians play for the ceremony, which was held under the large oak tree on the property. The couple joined their guests inside the “barn” where Jenn and her father danced to “Feed the Birds (Mary Poppins)” by Julie Andrews, fitting for a family of self-proclaimed Disney-fanatics. The newly weds and their guests were treated to some amazing southern food provided by Beau Catering, complete with pimento cheese sliders, fried chicken with mushroom gravy, and butternut squash ravioli. After dinner, Jenn and Sachin took their place on the dance floor for their first dance set to Michael Jackson’s “Lady in my life.” After the first dance, we opened up the dance floor, which stayed packed…and I mean packed, for the next two hours, until the last bus arrived at pickup the last of the guests. I played everything from the Commodores and Lionel Ritchie to Kesha and Jay Z which was a lot of fun. It was a great and fun wedding on a beautiful day at a great venue… can’t ask for much more than that! We wish the newlyweds all the best and a lifetime of happiness.
