Mack and Sarah’s amazing reception took place at the incredible Grand Marquise Ballroom located in Garner, NC. You might not know it’s there until you go to an event, but it’s unforgettable! The room was decked out to the nines on Saturday night! Lyn Graves and the Fresh Affairs team created incredible florals for this event. This may have been the prettiest wedding I’ve ever seen there! Amazing!

The evening started out with cocktails just outside the ballroom. I was ready and waiting as the guests filed into the main room and the bridal party was waiting at the top of the massive staircase. The introduction music was Pitbull’s “Give Me Everything” and that got everyone really excited! Once Sarah and Mack were announced, the crowd of almost 300 blew the roof off! Man that group was LOUD! They went right into their first dance “Cross My Heart” by George Strait and then Sarah and her father danced to “I Loved Her First”. Finally, Mack and his mom danced to “You Are The Sunshine of My Life” by Stevie Wonder. As everyone took a seat, I introduced Sarah’s dad and he gave a great welcome. Next, Mack’s grandfather came up to bless the food. Soon after, the trays started pouring out of the kitchen. Rocky Top Catering once again did an incredible job with the dinner (I got a filet!).

As dinner ended, I could tell people were ready to party, so we put the toasts in motion. The maid of honor, matron of honor, and father of the groom all gave great speeches and at the end, the flower girl and the ring bearer came walking down the stairs with his & her UNC jerseys for the bride and groom! Mack was the snapper for the MIGHTY UNC Tar Heels! That was awesome! They then cut the cake to “Everything” by Michael Buble and thanked the crowd for coming. Next of course, it was dance time! As soon as the first notes of “Carolina Girls” came out of the speakers, it was madness on the dance floor. What a great party! The only time we took a break was for the bouquet and garter toss. They rocked all the way to the ending at 11:00. The guests then sent them off under a shower of sparklers. It was such a great night and I’m so happy for the new Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd!
