Francis Marion Hotel in Charleston, SC Wedding Venue
Erin Neely and Tyler Morris were married at the beautiful, elegant Francis Marion Hotel in downtown Charleston. I was able to work with some great vendors, including the always-amazing Caroline Cook of Birdie and Boe Event Management and Design who designed a gorgeous ballroom, and James McCoy of James McCoy Photography who took some amazing pictures, as you can see below!
Erin and Tyler were married at the picturesque Hampton Park and boarded a trolley to the Francis Marion for the celebration. Once they arrived, I introduced the bridal party and newlyweds into the Colonial Ballroom to “Sharp Dressed Man” by ZZ Top where they were welcomed by the 100+ family and friends who were there to celebrate their union.
Erin and Tyler danced their first dance as husband and wife to “Everything” by Michael Bublé. The couple had been preparing for their first dance by taking dance lessons and they nailed it! After the first dance, the other special man in Erin’s life joined her on the dance floor, and she and her father danced to “Walk With Me” by Edwin McCain. Tyler and his mother then danced to “Simple Man” by Lynyrd Skynyrd. Erin also tossed her bouquet to “Wannabe” Spice Girls which was a great choice I must say, and Tyler retrieved and threw the garter to “Sexy and I Know It” by LMFAO.
After some amazing food and catching up with family and friends, we opened up the dance floor with “Old Time Rock’n Roll” by Bob Seger and everyone jumped on the dance floor and never left. I knew they were going to be a great crowd as several guests, young and old, were making requests and wanting to get the dancing started and we hadn’t even finished dinner! We had a great time and everyone danced to Taylor Swift, Neil Diamond, Nat King Cole, Montell Jordan, Megan Trainor, Darius Rucker, B-52’s, and we closed out the night with “Shout” and “Closing Time.”
It is weddings like this one and clients like Erin and Tyler that make me love what I do and make it so rewarding and fun!
We all at Bunn DJ Company wish Erin and Tyler all the best and a lifetime of happiness!

DJing is more than just showing up and pressing play. It’s also more than just knowing how to choose songs and mix them together. Begin a wedding DJ is about creating experiences and atmospheres. That’s what our DJing philosophy boils down to. We don’t want to just provide the perfect music. We want to create the perfect day. That’s why we excel in what we do. And this wedding was a perfect example of that. Working with this awesome couple to create the day they envisioned is something we’ll never forget. And it’s a service we provide all our Charleston Weddings again and again.
