Rand-Bryan House – Garner, NC Wedding Venue

Rand-Bryan House Sample Wedding

Amanda and Brandon chose Garner NC’s historic Rand-Bryan House for their ceremony and reception on a beautiful December 10th afternoon and evening.

The Wedding Ceremony

Their ceremony was held in front of the house’s front porch. There was an archway decorated with flowers for them to get married under. Amanda looked beautiful in her white dress and faux white fur shawl. After the ceremony Southern Rose Photography had the 70 guests all gather for a quick group pic before coming into the house for the cocktail hour.

The First Dance

When the guests started coming inside I started the cocktail hour mix of country, rock, classic soul, and pop. Guests visited, enjoyed drinks, and ate appetizers. Amanda and Brandon came inside for lots of group pics in front of the beautiful Christmas tree set up in the main room. After all the pics were taken they had their first dance to “Tonight” by John Legend. After that Amanda danced with her Brother to “You’re My Best Friend” by Queen. So sweet! Brandon escorted his Mother to the floor for their dance to “Humble & Kind” by Tim McGraw. Amanda’s Maid of Honor Sierra toasted the couple and I started the dinner music.

The Sunday “Gravy”

Dinner was just amazing and very special because Amanda’s Mother made it. The meal was made up of baked ziti, meatballs, sausage, and homemade Sunday “Gravy”. I was just in heaven! It was so delicious!!!! After dinner, we had a money dance with help from Sierra to hold the “loot bag”. Thanks, Sierra! I opened the floor to everyone with “The Electric Slide” which brought all the kids out and some adults to dance with them. For the next couple of hours, I played 90’s R&B, Top 40, some oldies, slow songs, and line dances. We paused for the cake cutting to “Grow Old With You” by Adam Sandler, then back to dance music until the end of the night.

Thank you, Amanda and Brandon, and congratulations!

Bunn DJ Company believes DJing is more than just showing up and pressing play. It’s also more than just knowing how to choose songs and mix them together. Being wedding DJs at Rand-Bryan House is about creating experiences and atmospheres. That’s what our DJing philosophy boils down to. We don’t want to just provide the perfect music. We want to create the perfect day. That’s why we excel in what we do. And this wedding was a perfect example of that. Working with this awesome couple to create the day they envisioned is something we’ll never forget. And it’s a service we provide all our weddings again and again.
