If you are trying to search for the venue on Google, their official name is “Embassy Suites by Hilton Raleigh Durham Airport Brier Creek”. Yes, that’s why the locals call it Embassy Suites in Brier Creek.  When planning a wedding at Embassy Suites in Brier Creek, we have a few tips.

  1. If you are thinking of having your reception here, also consider the ceremony as well.  The back lawn is a beautiful setting for a wedding ceremony!
  2. Having your cocktail hour in Palmer’s Cove is fun!
  3. No matter your wedding colors or decor, uplights look great in the ballroom.  They can set the tone for romance during dinner and fun during dancing.
  4. Not sure where to put the DJ?  The normal Dj setup is in the middle of the side wall right in front of the dance floor.  This will keep guests dancing all night long!

Sample Wedding At Embassy Suites in Brier Creek

Heather Bennett and Paason Rojanatavorn were married at the beautiful Embassy Suites in Brier Creek. Stephanie Cisko of Viva L’Event provided amazing day-of services and planning. Stephanie was amazing to work with, as always, and made everything so much easier!

Heather and Paason were joined at the hotel venue by about 100 of their closest family and friends for their ceremony and reception. The couple held two beautiful ceremonies, the first being a traditional Christian ceremony, and the second a traditional Thai Water Ceremony. During the first ceremony, Heather’s father escorted her down the aisle to “How Long Will I Love You” by Ellie Goulding. During the Thai Water Ceremony, guests were invited up to bless the couple by pouring water over their hands as they sat joined by a string of flowers tethered to each others’ heads.

Shortly after the Thai ceremony, I introduced the bridesmaids one by one to “I Gotta Feeling” by Black Eyed Peas, and the groomsmen to the Chicago Bulls theme song. I then introduced the new Mr. and Mrs. Paason Rojanatavorn to their families and guests to “Canon Rock” which was awesome. They danced their first dance as husband and wife to “Heaven” by Bryan Adams. After dinner and some heartfelt toasts by the Matron of Honor, Heather’s sister, and the Best Man, Paason’s brother, Paason and his brother together played a bluegrass medley on their acoustic guitars. After playing with his brother, Paason surprised his bride with a beautiful acoustic rendition of “Every Breath You Take” which was amazing! Paason and his brother have been music lovers from a young age, playing several different instruments in several bands growing up, but they settled on the guitar as their instrument of choice.

Heather and her father danced to “I Hope You Dance” by Lee Ann Womack, followed by Paason and his mother dancing to “Forever Young” by Rod Stewart. After the parent dances, we had an Anniversary Dance to honor the bride and groom’s parents and their decades of marriage.

We opened up the dance floor as guests enjoyed the delicious cake. Everyone was dancing and having a great time, but it was Paason’s older brother, and Best Man, who stole the show with his impressive breakdancing. Paason joined his brother on the dance floor soon thereafter with what, in my opinion, was the best groom/best man impromptu breakdance I have ever seen! Everyone was dancing until the very end and we all had a great time!

Amanda Brendle of Amanda Brendle Photography took some amazing pictures of the ceremonies and reception. I cannot wait to see the final shots!

It was an amazing day and an amazing wedding with two beautiful and special ceremonies. Heather and Paason were amazing to work with and I am honored to have been a part of their special day! We wish them all the best and a lifetime of happiness!
